It's been a few eventful days since I hopped on the Stray Bus on Saturday. So instead of traveling from one town to the next on my own, the stray bus has a predefined loop to show everything a backpacker should see and guarantees an accommodation in these places, so I need much less organisation now. On top of that, it's a great opportunity to meet other backpackers and in deed I met some really nice people here :) We stopped in Abel Tasman National Park which has some really amazing golden beaches, which are great for hiking or just taking a nap :D After that we drove along the coast to Westport and saw some more nice coastlines along the way. In Westport there wasn't much to see, but we had a fun little brewery tour with the opportunity to taste a lot of beer. Now i unfortunately left the group here at Franz Josef Glacier, because I have much more time than most of the other people, so I had to say goodbye and will wait for the next bus on Sunday. The weather here is pretty miserable, but the forecast for tomorrow is good and I hope to get on a long hike on top of the mountain.
